Join the New Mexico Hispanic Heritage Committee and the City of Albuquerque as we kick off Hispanic Heritage Month with an evening celebrating our rich culture, heritage, and community in the heart of Old Town!
The Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff Celebration will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Old Town Plaza Gazebo, 200 N. Plaza St. NW. This year's theme is “Unidos, Somos Más — Together, We Are More.”
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with networking and entertainment, followed by the official ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Guests can expect an evening of community, cultural entertainment, and celebration as we come together to officially kick off Hispanic Heritage Month in Albuquerque.
The event is free and open to the community, and everyone is welcome to join us!
